What Baal Santushti (बाल संतुष्टी) offers:

Baal Santushti  believes in holistic development of a child and as such the focus is on overall development of the personality including their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual space.

It comprises 12 sessions spread over one year , with 9 sessions held in Mumbai location and 3 sessions at Santushti Retreat.

For the Physical space:

•⁠  ⁠Learning about our breath & Pranayams, leading to better health.

•⁠  ⁠Exposure to our eco- system, learning about micro organism

•⁠  ⁠Respecting Nature & natural products.

•⁠  ⁠Learning to value food ( by seeing, participating the farming process),

•⁠  Possessions ( by understanding the way of living of rural India) and togetherness ( the importance of communities & families).

For the Mental space:

•⁠  ⁠Concentration & Focus thru various games & activities ( e.g.removing weeds, stringing the beads)

•⁠  ⁠Gradual shift from negative thought process through interactions & affirmations.

( e.g. I can not achieve my goal, I am incapable) to positive thought process ( I have all the power and ability to achieve my goal)

For the Emotional space:

•⁠  ⁠Learning to have power over your own emotions ( e.g.He called me names and I am angry with him, and want to hit him.

She scored better than me, I am jealous)

•⁠  ⁠Developing empathy & compassion by exposure to rural community & children-sharing, caring, interacting.

For the Spiritual space:

•⁠  ⁠Contemplation

•⁠  ⁠Learning to go within and connect with your Higher Self

•  Meditation in natural surroundings with the Five elements

As we all are aware, development of personality is not an overnight magic, but is a gradual process, requiring time, commitment,  patience and perseverance. It is like planting a Bamboo tree, which for the initial years developes its roots deep and strong before sprouting up from the soil, rising up to greater heights with very solid foundation.
