About Santushti:
As the name suggests, Santushti is an abode of love and peace, created by Shubhda Vaid ( fondly called 'Mai' by villagers ), for the love of her Guru, to whom she was led by an inner calling. Situated in a small village, 2.5 hours away from Mumbai, near Shahapur on Mumbai Nasik highway, it is just 400 meters away from Shai river, surrounded by lush green fields all around, with a clear view of Ajoba parvat in Sahyadri mountain range, Santushti is a true abode for your heart. Its peaceful surroundings with sounds of nature dominating the environment, leads one into self contemplation over one's life purpose.
About the Founder:
Coming from a traditional Marwari family, Shubhda Vaid led a normal life, fulfilling her duties as a daughter, wife and mother. At the age of 35, certain experiences of light and energy led her to her Guru. This meeting culminated in a beautiful Guru -disciple relationship and led to her own awakening.
She has translated three of her Guru's books on Kundalini Yoga from English to Hindi and has penned down a book called 'Guru, Gratitude & Grace', wherein she talks about the transformational journey that she has gone through.
In 2011, while passing through certain challenges and situations in her life, on her guru's command, she started her entrepreneurial venture called Grace Occasions. Slowly and steadily, this work started providing gifting and packaging solutions to a large clientele spread across the globe and created a niche for itself in the premium segment with its unique Mystique collection , which uses Sholapith, a natural eco-friendly material.
Reviving and promoting different Indian art-forms, including Sholapith and Zardosi, by turning them into lifestyle products with intricate work has been Grace Occasions forte.
Over the years, running this business helped Shubhda gain practical knowledge and transformed her personality.

Shubhda was fortunate enough to receive continuous guidance and counselling from her Guru as she navigated through different relationships. This helped her understand the intricacies of the human psyche and the need for love, acceptance and appreciation.
Her desire to share this valuable knowledge and understandings of life with many in the world, in natural surroundings and homely atmosphere led her to search for a piece of land on the outskirts of Mumbai, where she could build a retreat centre. Soon, she found herself on the spot that she had envisioned in meditation. Here, a sacred home was built with the support of divine providence and was named Santushti.
